Bringing Community Together: BBQ, Bingo & Estate Planning Tips

ree

At Independent Home Health of Milton, we believe caring for our community goes beyond the services we provide in the home. It’s also about creating opportunities to connect, learn, and enjoy time together. That’s why we were thrilled to host members of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (PASR) at the Paxtonville Church Pavilion for a special BBQ & Bingo Party.

An Afternoon of Fun and Learning

The day was filled with laughter, good food, and friendly bingo games—but it was also a chance to learn something important. We welcomed Attorney Julie Steinbacher, who shared her expertise on estate planning and long-term care preparation.

Her talk covered:

  • Why it’s important to get your affairs in order before a healthcare crisis occurs.

  • Options for paying for long-term care, whether at home or in a facility.

  • How organizations like Independent Home Health can provide trusted support for individuals wishing to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes.

Why This Matters

Planning for the future can feel overwhelming, but events like this give families the tools and confidence to start the conversation. Estate planning and long-term care decisions aren’t just about finances—they’re about peace of mind, knowing that loved ones will be cared for no matter what lies ahead.

Looking Ahead

We are so grateful to Attorney Steinbacher for joining us, and to PASR for partnering with us on this event. Most of all, we are thankful for everyone who attended and made the day such a success.

At Independent Home Health, our mission is to support families with compassionate, reliable care in the place they feel most comfortable — home. And just like this BBQ & Bingo gathering, we are always looking for ways to bring knowledge, care, and community together.
