Building Community Connections: IHH at the Mifflin County PASR Bingo Event

ree

At Independent Home Health, we believe community partnerships are an essential part of caring for local families. Recently, we had the privilege of being the featured program at the Mifflin County Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (PASR) Bingo Event in Burnham, PA — and it was a wonderful day of fun, learning, and connection.

A Full House of Smiles

Nearly 50 participants attended the event, filling the room with laughter, conversation, and energy. Each PASR gathering features a different program, and this time Independent Home Health was honored to share our story and highlight the services we provide to families in need of in-home care.

More Than Just Bingo

While the afternoon was filled with exciting bingo games, prizes, and camaraderie, it also offered something more valuable: the chance to connect with retirees and community members about what quality care at home looks like. We were able to answer questions, share resources, and provide insight into how families can plan ahead when it comes to health and long-term care needs.

Why These Events Matter

Events like this are a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. They give us an opportunity to meet people where they are, learn from their experiences, and strengthen the ties between caregivers, families, and the broader community. We’re deeply grateful to PASR Mifflin County for inviting us to be part of their program lineup and for creating such a welcoming environment.

Looking Ahead

Independent Home Health looks forward to continuing to participate in community events like these. They not only allow us to showcase our services but also reinforce our mission: to provide compassionate, reliable care that helps families feel supported and secure.
